below White pubescent or subglabrous; leaflets elliptic or oblong-ovate, 7-30
mm long, 3-12 mm wide, apex obtuse or slightly concave, with a small point or
inconspicuous, base rounded, upper Green, nearly glabrous, covered with white
pubescence below.
The raceme is
slightly dense, with 10-20 flowers; the total pedicel is nearly equal to or
longer than the leaves, and is significantly elongated in fruit; the bracts are
linear-lanceolate, 2-5 mm long, and the back is covered with white pubescent
hair ; pedicel 3-4 mm long, with rachis slightly densely brown or black
pubescent; bracteoles 2; calyx campanulate, 5-7 mm long, white or black
pubescent outside, sometimes calyx tube nearly glabrous , only calyx teeth
hairy, calyx teeth short, triangular to subulate, only 1/4-1/5 of the length of
the calyx tube; corolla yellow or pale yellow, flag petals obovate, 12-20 mm
long, apex slightly concave, The base has a short stalk, the wing petals are
slightly shorter than the flag petals, the petals are oblong, the base has
short ears, the petal stalk is about 1.5 times longer than the petals, the keel
petals are nearly equal to the wing petals, and the petals are semi-oval, The
stalk is slightly longer than the petal; the ovary has a stalk and is
pubescent.
The pod is membranous, slightly inflated, semi-elliptic, 20-30 mm long, 8-12 mm wide, with thorns at the top, white or black pubescent on both sides, fruit neck beyond the calyx; 3-8 seeds. The flowering period is June-August, and the fruiting period is July-September.
It likes coolness, is resistant to cold and drought, and is afraid of heat and waterlogging.
